Paul Bobroff joins Buchler Phillips as a Partner

May 20, 2021

Former Tottenham Hotspur chairman once again works alongside firm’s founder David Buchler

Buchler Phillips, the UK’s leading independent corporate recovery, turnaround and  restructuring firm, has appointed Paul Bobroff as a Partner.

Paul has more than 30 years’ experience of leading and managing businesses. A turnaround specialist with particular expertise in real estate issues, he was founder and Managing Director of property and investment group Markheath PLC for 20 years, including taking the business public in 1981.  Paul was also Chairman of Tottenham Hotspur PLC for seven years, during which time the Club became the first football club to float on the Stock Exchange. It was at Tottenham that Paul first worked with David Buchler, who later became the club’s Vice Chairman from 2001 to 2006.

Since 2013, Paul has been CEO of London Asia Capital PLC, working as part of a turnaround board appointed by shareholders of the former AIM listed company to realise assets and recover funds.

Welcoming Paul to Buchler Phillips, the firm’s co-founder and Chairman, David Buchler, said:

“I’m excited to be expanding my long association with Paul as he joins our partnership. Central to the Buchler Phillips turnaround offering is our ability to work on the ground, whether in a Directorship capacity, as a Chief Restructuring Officer, or in any other way as part of the management group in order to effect positive change. There are very few operational turnaround experts with the breadth of Paul’s experience, particularly in situations with a real estate or capital markets component. We are very pleased to be able to offer our clients access to his expertise.”
